Face masks to be ditched sooner than planned, COVID-19 briefings scrapped completely

NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has hinted the rule which makes mask wearing compulsory indoors will be lifted sooner than planned.

Mr Perrottet said he would announce the details later this morning but told ABC News Breakfast people could expect to ditch masks indoors sooner than December 1 - the date previously outlined by former Premier Gladys Berejiklian.
